A new circular from the Italian National Labour Inspectorate is now available online

The Italian National Labour Inspectorate provides the surveillance authorities with operational guidelines concerning the transnational posting of workers

With circular No 1 of 9 January 2017 the Italian National Labour Inspectorate provides the surveillance authorities with operational guidelines concerning the transnational posting of workers.

The circular specifies the scope of the new legislation provided for by Legislative decree No 136/2016 implementing Directive 2014/67/EU. The Italian National Labour Inspectorate focuses on the authenticity of a posting and the factual elements to consider during control activities by the inspection staff, as well as the penalties and/or fines to apply in the case of irregularities.
